My Story
My business is built around my love of old and new. I am a quilter by heart, but a recent bout with breast cancer forced me to change my path. I love the look and feel of a well loved quilt. I bring new life to vintage quilts by repurposing them into everyday and seasonal items that can be cherished for many more years to come. Recently, I also found a passion for making unique one of a kind heirloom stuffed dolls, many of which are inspired by toys and popular culture icons of my childhood growing up in the 80’s.
Finally my third passion comes from the beauty of nature that surrounds us. Canada’s wilderness is the world’s envy, and it is our duty to keep our true north strong and green. That is why a portion of each sale is donated to local charitable foundations like Forests Ontario, and Nature Canada, to fund conservation efforts that protect our environment and species at risk.
